Lemack & Company Public Relations/Talent Management was established in 1982 by Brad Lemack. Since then, the communications company has established itself in the areas of entertainment, personality and book publicity, business and non-profit public relations, special event creation and production, and talent management and career development for actors. The company’s publishing division, Ingenuity Press USA, develops and publishes books for actors and for readers interested in the business of acting, entertainment and performing arts.

After a ten-year on-air and production career in Boston radio and television, Brad relocated to Los Angeles to accept a position as a publicity executive for Norman Lear’s Tandem/TAT Productions (later Embassy Television) where he was responsible for the episodic and series publicity of the company’s network hits at the time, which included The Jeffersons, One Day At A Time, Archie Bunker’s Place, Diff’rent Strokes, The Facts of Life and Square Pegs, as well as several after-school specials, syndicated programming and movies for television.

He left that position to establish his own agency and has since received numerous awards for his work, including six prestigious PRo Awards for Excellence from the Publicity Club of Los Angeles, the prestigious PRism Award from the Public Relations Society of America and two National Marketing & Communications Awards from Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

He is also a member of the faculty of Boston’s Emerson College’s Los Angeles Center where he teaches courses in entertainment and interactive public relations, the business of acting and entertainment industry career development through the College’s internship program.

Brad received his Bachelor of Science degree from Emerson College and his Master of Arts in theatre arts and dance, with a concentration in performance for social change, from California State University, Los Angeles.

He is the author of two book for actors. His first book is the popular The Business of Acting: Learn the Skills You Need to Build the Career You Want (foreword by Emmy Award-winning actress Isabel Sanford, star of the long-running television series “The Jeffersons”), originally published in 2002, with subsequent reprinting. His second book, published in the fall of 2010, is The New Business of Acting: How to Build a Career in a Changing Landscape.

Brad is also the host of the Virtual Channel Network series "Inside the Business of Acting" and is creator and host of RerunIt.com, which celebrates "classic" television celebrities and American pop culture. He has co-authored, with Isabel Sanford, her autobiography titled You Can Call Me Weezy and developed and edited the book Acting and How To Be Good At It and Acting and How To Be Good At It: The Second Edition, by noted character actor and acting coach Basil Hoffman (foreword by Academy Award-winning director Sydney Pollack). He also contributed to the book of the musical BARK and has two other plays and one other book currently in development.
